5 minute beach waves
Beauty on the go
I guess you can say that my signature style is beach waves.
But how do I get that quick & easy?
Let me break it down.
What do you need?
- (duck) clips or big bobby pins
- optional hairspray
There are 2 ways to do it easily.
The first is with a wide curling iron.
The second is with a straightener and since almost everyone has one of those, we go with that.
I assume I do not have to tell you that you need to use a heat protectant to protect your hair from the heat right?
Roll it up
Het is heel simpel , je pakt van je eerste gedeelte een brede pluk (2 tot 3 vingers) en die ga je om 3 vingers oprollen alsof je vingers een tang is. Je kan zo hoog of laag gaan als je wilt.
It is very simple, you take a piece of hair from your first section (about 2 to 3 fingers wide) and you will roll a this around 3 fingers as if your fingers were a curling iron. Go as far up or low low as you want.
Then you press that hair in your finger flat and hold it on with a clip or bobbypin so that it does not roll down. Hold the rolled up hair between your flat iron for about 5 to 7 seconds.
Then you continue with another piece and so you go off your entire head, section by section.
When you’re done with this, you let it cool for about 5 minutes and then you can start taking out the clips.
The more time you have, the longer you can leave them in, the longer they stay in style.
Bend your head afterwards and massage your hair roots for a second or 3 and voila. Beach hair with volume! You can also cool the hair with the cold state of the blowdryer and ‘set’ it extra.
Because your taking quit large chunks of hair it gives you that natural glam a.k.a effortless hair.
Give it a quick spray to hold and you’re good to go!
